After-Care Questions I get asked after Dermal Filler Treatments
Gabrielle is Chanel’s new perfume launch after 15 years which means it’s a huge deal and why everyone including me has been excited about it.
It has been named after the iconic designer herself – Ms. Gabrielle Chanel before she became known as the legendary Coco. The scent aims to deliver in Chanel’s own words, “Gabrielle Chanel is a fragrance for a woman who chooses her own path.” This daring new fragrance is recognisable as a classic perfume by Chanel but given the twist of a rebellious spirit that oozes confidence and clearly made for a lady who lives life on her own terms.
Gabrielle was created by Olivier Polge, Chanel’s in-house perfumer who describes the new scent as an “abstract floral.” This perhaps gives it that modern touch that Chanel may have lacked in previous perfumes.
Gabrielle initially opens with citrus grapefruit which explodes into the full bloom of white flowers. The heart of the fragrance is neroli, ylang-ylang, orange blossom, tuberose, and jasmine. The base is sandalwood and a few white musks.
It is a classic Chanel Bottle similar to Coco Mademoiselle but the base is sleek and barely there.
Gabrielle has 10-12 hour longevity and average sillage.
If you loved Coco Mademoiselle then this will be an edgier version to add to your fragrance collection. I love the floral scent with the burst of freshness. It smells amazing and Chanel has not disappointed me. I have had so many complements wearing it and it is definitely the the standout perfumes of the year. (The other being Gucci – Bloom).
It can be worn both date-time and evening which is fabulous because when you catch a whiff on it- it takes you to an evening in Paris which is full of beauty, love and attitude.
