A person with a stronger chin is generally thought of as a stronger, smarter, and more of a assertive type of person. Just think of Batman or Superman or in the case of ladies, J.Lo or Salma Hyak. Beauty depends on the balance of all features. In a lady, the increase of height at the central point of the chin will sharpen the face and make it appear defined and feminine.

Traditional Chin Implant

Traditionally the surgical insertion of a chin implant would have been the solution for a recessive chin. Surgery always carries risk such as scarring, infection and anaesthesia complication. They tend to be less customisable option and can shift after surgery. Another negative is that as we get older our face changes and despite the changes in the rest of the face the implant will look the same and may give an unnatural look.

Non-Surgical Chin Enhancement

Now at Yorkshire Health and Aesthetics we offer a non-surgical chin enhancement which allows medical practitioner to inject dermal filler into precise areas of the chin to increase the length, width and projection. The benefits of this are that the chin can be moulded to each individual to complement the rest of the features of the client face.  The procedure itself takes only ten minutes with little pain, redness or downtime. There is little risk of infection.

Sometimes clients can have creases in the chin caused by overactive muscles. These can be relaxed by injecting some Botox
